Hydrogenated vegetable oil as a fuel

Our truck fleet in Krems has been operating in a more environmentally friendly manner since January 1, 2024. Together with the city of Krems, we are improving our environmental footprint. Until now, our truck fleet has been powered by diesel. This is now being replaced by hydrogenated vegetable oil, thereby reducing CO2 emissions by 90%. The major advantage of hydrogenated vegetable oil is that it is derived 100% from renewable raw materials and is compatible with existing diesel engines. The City of Krems is covering the additional production costs, thereby supporting this project.
