Raised bed soil
The Brantner raised bed soil is a peat-free substrate specifically developed for raised beds. Its balanced composition creates a uniform and stable growing medium that promotes a healthy soil environment and is ideally suited for growing vegetables and herbs. Easy to work with, it provides a reliable foundation for vigorous plant growth and high-yield crops. In addition, it complies with the requirements of ÖNORM S 2210 for compost-based substrates.
Characteristics:
Our raised bed soil is a naturally formulated, peat-free substrate composed of A+ quality compost, quartz sand, wood fibres, and mineral structural materials such as expanded clay. This balanced blend creates a loose, well-aerated, and structurally stable growing medium that is perfectly suited to the specific requirements of raised beds. Its fine screening ensures a uniform, easy-to-handle texture that is free from viable weed seeds, providing a clean and root-friendly growing environment.
How to use:
The Brantner raised bed soil is ideally suited for filling raised beds and planting containers. It provides a well-drained, stable rooting environment for vegetables, herbs, and ornamental plants. Its structurally stable composition supports reliable plant establishment and uniform growth. As raised beds are not subject to a fixed application depth, the soil can be used flexibly according to individual requirements.
