The Brantner lawn soil is a substrate specifically developed for the installation of sod and the establishment of durable lawns. Thanks to its fine screening and peat-free, organically approved composition, it provides a uniform, clean, and environmentally sustainable growing medium that improves soil quality over the long term. In addition, it complies with the requirements of ÖNORM S 2210 for compost-based soils, providing a solid foundation for dense, healthy, and resilient lawn surfaces.

Characteristics:

Our Brantner lawn soil is a peat-free, natural substrate made of A+ organic compost and washed quartz sand. This combination provides a sandy, well-aerated structure while benefiting from the properties of high-quality compost. The result is a stable, root-friendly growing medium that reliably supports the establishment and growth of sod and newly seeded lawns. Fine screening to below 10 mm ensures a uniform, easy-to-handle soil that is also free from viable weed seeds. The organic compost, matured for a minimum of 12 weeks, creates an active soil environment that supplies the lawn with natural nutrients from the very beginning. In addition, Brantner lawn soil is approved for organic production and complies with the requirements of EU Organic Regulation (EU) 2018/848 and the BIO AUSTRIA Standard, highlighting its environmental and ecological quality.

How to use:

The Brantner lawn soil is ideally suited for establishing and restoring lawn areas, as well as for laying sod, as it creates a stable and well-aerated rooting environment. It supports reliable root establishment and ensures a dense, healthy, and long-lasting lawn. The recommended maximum application depth is 15 cm.
