Brantner Energy Community on course to catch up
The Brantner Energy Community (BEG) was founded in February 2024 and just one year later we can already report impressive successes! With five photovoltaic systems and three hydroelectric power plants, we are pursuing the goal of supplying our locations with our own electricity from a supra-regional community energy association. In April 2024, our self-sufficiency rate was still 28.6% – one year later, we were already able to record an impressive 63.8%. This encouraging development shows us that we are on the right path to a more sustainable and energy self-sufficient future.
