RECYCLING METALS<\/h2><\/div>

When residual waste is incinerated, various non-combustible materials are left behind: ash and slag, bricks, ceramics – and also metals such as iron, aluminum and copper. With Brantner Slagtory technology, even the smallest metals, the thickness of a human hair, can be removed from the slag. These are crushed, washed, sieved and the metals and salts removed. Approximately 80 % of the resulting ash and slag can be recycled and does not have to be disposed of in landfills. This saves large amounts of CO\u2082.<\/p>\n

The metals filtered out of the slag can be fed back into the cycle. This can save up to 95 % energy per ton of recycled aluminum compared to primary aluminum, for example. Battery boxes and engine blocks are made from the recycled aluminum. The recycled copper is used to produce motors for e-mobility.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
